Hello, I'm

Becky Taylor

VOICE OVER THAT IS: AUTHENTIC. PROFESSIONAL. UNMISTAKABLY NORTHERN.

So, you need a voice that sounds like an actual human being? Good, because that's exactly what I do. I'm a professionally trained voice actor with an authentic Yorkshire accent, a background in BBC radio production, and a home studio that delivers broadcast-quality audio. Fast turnaround, no drama, and I promise I won't sound like a robot reading from a script.

A Bit About Me

Here's the short version. I'm Becky — a Yorkshire lass with a professional microphone and a genuine love for storytelling. I trained as a voice actor with BRAVA, but honestly, my obsession with audio started long before that.

I spent years producing at BBC Radio 1, working alongside the likes of Nick Grimshaw, Jo Whiley, and Sara Cox. It was brilliant, chaotic, and taught me everything about what makes audio connect with people. That experience is in every read I do — I understand what producers need, what editors are listening for, and how to make a script come alive.

These days, I work from my home studio delivering broadcast-quality audio with a fast turnaround. I'm also a podcaster, a marketing manager, and a mum who somehow fits all of this in between school runs and approximately forty cups of tea a day. My voice is warm, authentic, and unmistakably northern — and if your project needs someone who sounds like an actual person rather than a polished corporate machine, we should probably have a chat.

What I Do

Whether it's a national TV advert or an e-learning module that needs to not send people to sleep, I've got you covered.

Corporate Voiceovers

Professional but never boring. Internal comms, presentations, and brand films that people actually want to watch.

E-learning & Training

Clear, engaging narration that makes learning feel less like a chore and more like a conversation.

Explainer Videos

Making complicated things sound simple. Because nobody wants to be confused by their own product demo.

Documentaries & Audio Guides

Thoughtful, immersive narration for stories that deserve to be told properly.

Audiobooks

Long-form narration with warmth, pace, and the kind of voice you'd happily listen to for hours.

Medical & Technical

Precise, clear delivery for healthcare, pharmaceutical, and technical content. No jargon left behind.

Public Sector & Charity

Compassionate, trustworthy reads for campaigns that genuinely matter.

IVR & On-Hold Messaging

The friendliest voice your callers will hear while they're waiting. It's the least they deserve.

Every project is different, so I quote based on script length, usage, and turnaround time. Drop me a message for a quick, no-obligation quote — I'm always happy to chat things through.

Hear Me in Action

Here's a taste of some real projects I've worked on. From national TV ads to charity campaigns, every project gets the same care and attention.
